Sessions and Tracks

1. Heart Diagnosis

Diagnostic tests identify the heart function & heart conditions associated with healthy vs. unhealthy people in cardiology. Cardiac stress testing is used to assess cardiac function and to reveal evidence of cardiac hypoxia. During radionuclide testing, thallium or technetium can be used to diagnose areas of perfusion abnormalities. During a maximal stress test, the level of exercise is increased until the person's heart rate doesn't increase significantly. In addition to a coronary calcium scan, cardiac imaging techniques such as an echocardiogram, intravascular ultrasound, and coronary catheterization may also be used to diagnose cardiac disease.

2. Heart Diseases

Cardiovascular disease mentions conditions that incorporate limited or blocked blood vessels that can induce a heart attack, chest pain or stroke. Other heart conditions that control the heart's muscle, valves or beat, furthermore are perceived as types of heart disease. diseases are hereditary. Genes can come up with the risk of cardiovascular diseases in relatives. The other categories of cardiovascular diseases are triggered due to environmental factors.

3. Cardiology-Future Medicine

Cardiology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the heart and other parts of the circulatory system. 5. Hypertension

High blood pressure is also known as hypertension. Circulating blood exerts pressure against the walls of the body's arteries, the key blood vessels. When blood pressure is extremely high, it is called hypertension. The blood pressure is recorded as two numbers. The first number (systolic) represents the pressure in blood vessels when the heart contracts. As the heart rests between beats, the body experiences a drop in blood pressure (diastolic pressure). We will analyze hypertension if, when it is evaluated on two different days, the systolic blood pressure is >140 mmHg and/or the diastolic blood pressure is >90 mmHg.

6. Congestive Heart Failure

In the developing world, heart failure is the leading cause of death and hospitalization, and the number of patients with heart failure is expected to increase dramatically in the near future. Additionally, we will emphasize epidemiological research as well as research pertaining to a wide variety of treatment approaches to heart failure, ranging from cardiac rehabilitation to surgical management approaches.

7. Clinical Case Reports on Cardiology

In humans and animals, the heart is a muscle organ responsible for pumping blood through the blood vessels of the circulatory system. Many medications used to treat other disorders in the body can have a negative effect on the heart. In order to develop treatment strategies, case reports on cardiac arrest and the disease they cause are crucial. 8. Cardiac and Cardiovascular Surgeries

In atherosclerosis, plaque is deposited on the inner walls of arteries, causing them to narrow and thicken. Atherosclerosis is also known as arteriosclerosis. It leads to many cardio-related diseases such as Coronary Heart Disease, Stroke, Peripheral Arterial Disease, and Chronic Kidney Disease.

The goal of atherosclerosis researchers is to develop noninvasive and invasive imaging tools to study atherosclerotic plaque dynamics as they change size, interact with immune cells, and become unstable.

12. Vascular Biology

Vascular Biology is a discipline that studies vascular function, structure, growth, and development. In this field, molecules, cells, organs, and even intact organisms are studied. Variations of vascular function may manifest in several pathophysiological states, including neoplasia, inflammation, aging, neurological disorders, metabolic disorders, as well as lung disorders and hypertension.

The prevalence of cardiovascular disease in women is on the rise in many countries such as the USA and Canada.
